St Tropez Gradual Tan Face & Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner Pen!

So today I had time to kill and popped into Boots just to have a look!
Massive mistake because as usual I picked up a little somethin’ somethin’!

I purchased a dupe of the Benefit Push Up Liner that I wish I could afford!
At £8.99 this maybelline version is a complete steal!
I’m a complete eyeliner nube and have never really got the hang of putting it on and it takes me ages to get a decent line so I never really bother with it!
Here is my very first attempt! I was so amazed at the first application in one go that I put this terrible picture of my eye on here!
The rest of my face was sans makeup and really quite shocking so it’s a rather cropped pic! 🙂
It literally just glides on and the rubber tip hugs the lash line! Amazing!
A bloody git to get off though! Completely impervious to water but a good hot cloth cleansing saved the day!

The St Tropez Gradual Tan for the face applies like a dream but is heavily fragranced! But it doesn’t smell like biscuits!
I’m not a fan of the fragrance but time will tell on how this pans out tan wise!

Makeup Revolution

There’s a new makeup brand in town going by the name of Makeup Revolution!
With prices starting at just £1 it had to be tried and I excitedly put in an order for an Amazing Care Lipstick in the shade Love a Hug and I also ordered an amazing Redemption Palette in Iconic 2!
I ordered direct from the website but you can also order from Superdrug online too!
My package swiftly arrived all well packaged and safe!
First up is the Amazing Care Lipstick. The bullet is a traditional lipstick shape but it’s a see through moisturising Argan oil packed outer layer with a shot of colour through its core!
It’s absolutely gorgeous to apply and glides on leaving a lovely, glossy, non sticky slick of natural looking colour. I really like this product and will enjoy using this when normal lipsticks become too high maintenance, for instance when out eating! I wouldn’t worry about this getting on my teeth or wearing off leaving a ridiculous ring of colour round my lips!
It comes in other colours and only costs £3! I shall be adding to my collection for sure!
Check them out here!

Now for the palette! These are an obvious dupe for a well known high end palette.
But I think this palette can stand on its own without being compared to other brands! It’s £4 but it delivers twelve highly pigmented beautiful shades that blend amazingly!
There are many other palettes to choose from including not only nudes, mattes, shimmers but also acid bright colours too!
You can peruse them here!
I will most certainly be going back for more lipsticks and will be checking out the other products too!
I have loved reading other peoples blogs on these products! 🙂

Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow

I’ve been lusting after some of the Bobbi Brown bronzing products for a while but I’m not prepared to part with the best part of £40 for one of them when I will only use it in the summer months!
So I went on a mission to find a good dupe!
Here is the best one I’ve found for a reasonable price, it’s the Revlon Highlighting palette which is almost identical to the Shimmer Brick. It’s also only £8.99!
I purchased the Rose Glow one because I’m really quite pale but it also comes in Bronze Glow which has more browny gold tones!
I prefer this to the Shimmer Brick as it’s not as shimmery! I don’t like to look too glittered up!
I find a little of this goes a long way and can be built up to your desired look! For me I find just a light sweep on the cheekbones and other areas that naturally catch the sun works a treat!
