I am officially obsessed with Jamie Oliver! So here’s another one of his recipesI tried out!
I followed the chicken recipe to the letter, but I went a bit off piste with the salad and dressing!
I left the ginger out of the dressing because the Mr doesn’t like it and I forgot the sprouts in the salad but it’s essentially the same! The salad was actually not the one in the recipe but the salad from the seared Asian beef recipe!
Also, even though it’s not very Asian I tried out Jamie’s olive oil garlic bread recipe too!
From the sticky chicken right down to the toasted seeds and cashews it was a delish din dins!
Here’s Jamie’s website
I had another go at fimo cane nail art!
Not the most imaginative nail art but it’s a neat little look!
Beside I don’t want to scare all the other librarians with mental talons! 🙂
I used Rimmel Brit Manicure in English Rose for the base then on the thumbs I stuck some fruity slices to a thin layer of top coat.
For the pink tips of the other nails I used Collection in Raspberry!
I finished it all off with another layer of top coat!
I’m a bit obsessed with nail polish and have been hunting for the perfect barely there pink! I think I may have found it in the Brit Manicure range.
The Brit Manicure range has the usual pinky tones but with the option to change up the white tips with some patriotic red and blue tips!
I purchased English Rose which you can find here.
I was majorly, majorly impressed with it’s staying power. I used a Rimmel base and top coat.
Below is a pic of mine nails after 7 whole days of wearing it! Barely a chip!
I went for a lovely day out with my family yesterday and my Mum bought me a beautiful skirt from Cath Kidston!
I also spied some beautiful cardigans that I’m totally lusting after !
You can get it here!
You can also get this one here!
I’ve become a bit obsessed with Jamie Oliver lately! More specifically his food!
I nearly exploded when I saw this naughty little dish on the tv and had to try it!
It was very easy and very quick to cook! Bingo!
I served mine with samphire quickly pan fried with butter and garlic and some lovely roasted tomatoes!
Here is the recipe!
So unless you have been living under a rock etc! You will have realised it was the Super Bowl this Sunday just gone!
To celebrate I made these double chocolate shortbread cookies!
I rolled out the dough and used a football shaped cutter but they spread during cooking so I cut them out again when they were still warm from the oven! Little tip for thee!
Here be the recipe!
